Institutional Racism: Disrupting Implicit Racial Bias

More than 50 years after the U.S. Supreme Court’s unanimous decision in Brown v. Board of Education, the nation’s public school system has yet to fulfill its promise of equal educational opportunity for all.

Institutional racism exists in our public schools and it is important to understand it out how to disrupt it in an effort to improve access, achievement, and wellness for students of color.
